Holy Week Schedule of Worship
The end of Lent starts Holy Week, and with it comes some of the most important and meaningful time of worship for us as Christians.
Sunday, April 1 is our 10am Palm Sunday worship with its emphasis on the entry of Jesus into Jerusalem and his last week before his crucifixion.
Maundy Thursday, April 5 at 7pm is our service which recalls Jesus washing the feet of the apostles, and institution the celebration of his Last Supper. At the end of the service is the stripping of the altar recalling the solemnity of the days leading up to Easter.
Good Friday, April 6 at 7pm is our service of Evening Prayer commemorating the work of Jesus who died on the cross to save us from sin.
The service of the Easter Vigil is held on Saturday, April 7 at 7pm with the lighting of the Pascal flame and the celebration of the first Eucharist of Easter.
Easter Sunday, April 7 will be celebrated starting at 9am with our breakfast at the church followed by the 10am Easter celebration service.
Join us for some of all of these great celebrations of our Christian faith!
New Website
The new website for Holy Trinity is starting slowly. Keep watching, and please forgive our many false starts and mistakes. We will have it up and running in due course, but it may take us geekless types a bit of time to get the site to where it should be. That said, we at last again have a web presence which will soon be a major source of information about our church both to those in the parish and those outside.
